Edmonton and area is soon to have some new radio to listen to.  Public hearings are to be held in Edmonton June 16, 2003, to determine who, among the following applicants, is best suited to bring a new voice to Edmonton radio. Listed are the company names, head office location and format proposed.

6.       CKMW Radio Ltd. – Toronto, ON - Hip Hop, Rap, Dance and Rhythm & Blues

7.       Global Communications Limited – Winnipeg, MN - Easy Listening music

8.       Rawlco (Edmonton) Ltd. – Calgary, AB - Smooth Jazz music
