Medical Staffing Levels
We provide the following four levels of Staffing:
* Emergency Medical Responder all registered in the Province of Alberta with Alberta Pre-Hospital Professions Association. Equivalent to advanced first aiders. Unrestricted Level 3 for B.C.
* Emergency Medical Technicians-Ambulance (EMT-A) all registered in the Province of Alberta with the Alberta Pre-Hospital Professions Association. All EMT-A’s are also certified for their Advanced Skills which include: I.V. therapy, Entonox administration, and AED. Unrestricted Level 3 for B.C.
* Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedics all registered in the Province of Alberta with the Alberta Pre-Hospital Professions Association. All paramedics are also certified for their Advanced Skills which include Suturing, Use of Pacemakers, chest Tube Monitoring. General Skills includes Medication Administration, Advanced Cardiac Care including Defibrillation and Advanced Airway Management.
Medical Services Restricted until Dec 2007 in Alberta, B.C., Saskatchewan and NWT due to sale of medical Services business.
Safety Consultants
* Providing safety services /safety watch services by licensed paramedic/EMT-A staff trained in confined space entry.

All staff work under the direct medical control of our Medical Director as to Government regulations, thus staff can consult on a 24-hour basis with our Medical Director who is a licensed Physician in the Province of Alberta.

Training Requirements for Fire Fighting Staff
* Min. level of Medical training is at the EMR level (AB.) registered
* Basic Wildfire Suppression course 1051 NFPA certified
* Min. Pump Operator 1 & 2 NFPA certified
* 1081 NFPA (Industrial fire fighting)
* Urban Interface S215 course
* High Angle Rescue for Aerial Operators
* Registered Paramedic Supervisors
All staff shall be registered with the Alberta College of Paramedics

* Sprinkler Trailer Units
* Fire Bush Buggy’s, 4x4 units complete with 500 gallon tanks and Scotty foam systems
